Supporting Arts and Crafts

Raya’s CSR mandate is to empower youth and culture plays a key driver from that perspective. For that purpose, we proudly supported Alwan Wa Atar Summer, the Montessori child corner.  Children were given tablets provided from Raya to attend different online workshops and limiting the on-site interactions for arts and crafts and IT education, such as geometric arts, brass modeling, film editing, drama, recycling and programming. Following the success of this summer school program, Montessori child corner has extended its activities to be offered all year long. As part of the online summer school program, online parent support was also given to parents to counteract the pandemic circumstances, helping them to provide nurturing environment at home.
